Boring Beastly Blog Bunfortunately

I have been having weird dreams. They are mostly a bit scary as well, which I do not appreciate. I don't know why. I think it might be due to the fact that I sleep in an armchair. It turns into a bed, but is an armchair none the less. Hmm.

Not much at all has happened in the last however long it has been that I haven't written. We moved into our flat, which is gorrrrrgeous. It's really cosy and has a yummy little cute kitchen and dining room with a rocking chair and a living room (WHICH HAS A BED FOR A SOFA. It's amazing) and we've each got a wee bedroom. The bedroom walls are hilarious. Them and the living room were obviously just one massive room back in Soviet times, due to the communal flats business, so two bedrooms have been created with what I'm convinced was a flat-pack set of cardboard walls. There have been several situations where people have stayed over on the bed-sofa and Becky and I have been in our own rooms in bed with the doors closed and we have all been having a giant normal volumed conversation with bodiless voices. It's raaather funny.

Other than for this the flat is also amazing because we are able to COOK. Becky was able to cook in her old halls but she didn't have any pans (or anything apart from a bowl) so it's been a nice progression for her as well. We've been going a bit insane on the buying really nice food front, simply because it's so nice living on things other than questionable meat and rubber cheese. We still live on these things, but with over stuff now too.

I'm feeling a bit more confident on the speaking front (in Russian I mean). Last week I was feeling very retarded and as though I'd forgotten everything, but I think that's just because I was sitting about for a few days because of a revolting coldy/fevery thing. This week was much better. Having Maria in the flat with us is so wonderful. She's the most gorgeous girl ever and is so lovely to us and cooks for us sometimes (we have returned the favour obviously, don't worry Da) and makes us weird make-shift cheesecake where we dip normal biscuits into the mix and eat it that way. It's really fun. We're going out for lunch with her today to somewhere called 7 Sky Bar. Apparently you can see loads of stuff from high up. I am excited because I like looking at stuff in St Petersburg. She also wants to take us to a bar where at midnight if a woman shows everyone her underwear and they are matching colours she gets champagne. How marvellous.

To the shower, I am ferociously fetid. Пока.

(Fletcher's coming in 2 weeks and 2 days, I am sooo exciiiteeed!!!!)!!!!!!!!!!!
